Carroll County Energy donation to the CARES Team to support Grab-and-Go Program during COVID-19

Carroll County Energy presented a donation to the CARES Team of the Carrollton School District in April. This group of teachers and volunteers work with the school district and serve students with non-academic barriers that could keep them from being successful in school. During the Covid-19 pandemic, they have focused on assisting local families impacted by job loss and families who are immune-system compromised. Since the pandemic began, more than 18,000 meals have been provided each week to local families through the program.
