Carroll County Energy Donates to Local Fire Departments
Carroll County Energy presented donations to four local fire departments on March 24 and 27. The donations will be used for much needed equipment ranging from scene lighting to a Rapid Intervention Team Pac used to quickly provide emergency breathing air for firefighters. Specific projects receiving financial assistance from Carroll County Energy are a 72” tanker Brow Light for the Carrollton Village Fire Department, replacement turnout gear for the Fox Township Fire Department, a Rapid Intervention Team Pac for the Great Trail Fire District, and tanker scene lighting for the Mohawk Valley Joint Fire Department.
Each of the facility’s first responders cited the donations as being tremendously helpful in meeting their urgent needs for critical equipment. Carroll County Energy also recognized that all four of the local departments provided mutual aid assistance for the February 2023 train derailment incident in East Palestine, OH.
